Watch Wink use a PC
Real tasks, start to finish: you ask, Wink plans it, then points the way or does it for you.
Tap a video to watch it with sound.
Talk to your PC like you’d ask a friend
No menus to learn and no commands to remember. Hold a key, say what you want, and Wink takes it from there.
Hold Ctrl and ask
Speak naturally, or press Ctrl + Alt to type instead. “How do I turn on dark mode?” or “Write an email to my landlord.”
Wink looks at your screen
It sees the screen your cursor is on, understands what’s open, and makes a step-by-step plan.
It guides you, or does it
Wink points at each thing to click and waits for you, or carries out the whole task while you watch.
Learn it yourself, or hand it over
Questions get a guided walkthrough. Commands get done. You can switch any time, even halfway through a task.

Your screen never leaves your PC
Wink’s AI runs on your own computer through Ollama. Your screenshots, your voice and your documents stay with you. There’s no account to create and nothing to pay.
- Runs 100% locally. Works offline once it’s set up.
- A countdown before every action. Press Esc to stop anything instantly.
- Move your mouse to take over. Wink steps back and just guides.
- Never presses risky shortcuts like Alt+F4 or Delete on its own.
Ready in two installs
Install Ollama, install Wink, pick your model, and you’re done. Wink checks your graphics card and sets everything else up by itself.
Install Ollama
Ollama is a free app that runs AI models on your own PC. Download it, run the installer, and that’s it. It works quietly in the background.
Get Ollama ↗Install Wink
Download the Wink installer and run it. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway.
Download WinkChoose your model and launch
On first start, Wink checks your graphics card and CUDA version, then lets you pick Fast (3 GB) or Accurate (6 GB). It downloads your choice once, and Launch Wink now puts it on your graphics card.
What happens on first startQuestions, answered
Is Wink really free?
Yes. Wink is free, with no account, subscription or API key. The AI runs on your own PC through Ollama, which is also free.
Why do I need Ollama?
Ollama is the engine that runs Wink’s AI model on your computer instead of in the cloud. That’s what keeps your screen private and Wink free. You only install it once; Wink handles the rest.
Does Wink send my screen anywhere?
No. Screenshots go from Wink to Ollama on the same PC and nowhere else. Once the models are downloaded, Wink works with no internet connection at all.
Will it work on my laptop?
It works best with an NVIDIA graphics card with 6 GB of memory or more, and a driver that supports CUDA 12 or newer. Wink checks both for you and recommends the right model. On PCs without one, Wink still works, but each step takes noticeably longer. See the requirements for details.
Can Wink break something on my PC?
Wink shows a countdown before every action, stops the moment you press Esc, and hands control back if you move the mouse. It never presses shortcuts that close or delete things on its own. Like any assistant, it can misread a screen, so keep an eye on important tasks.
Which apps does it work with?
Any app you can use with a mouse and keyboard: Word, Settings, Notepad, your browser and more. Windows doesn’t let normal apps control windows running as administrator, so Wink can’t operate those.
Does it understand my voice?
Yes. Speech recognition runs locally too. Hold Ctrl, speak, and let go. You can check and edit what it heard before sending, or type instead with Ctrl + Alt.
